Job description

Family Medicine Physician Shenandoah, TX

Join a dedicated, clinician-led private practice in Shenandoah that prioritizes a patient centered approach to medicine over a corporate, high-volume model. We are seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our close-knit "work family" and help grow a practice rooted in quality, efficiency, and professional collaboration.

  • Supportive "Work Family" Culture: Join a tenured, highly efficient team in a collaborative environment. Our culture is built on mutual respect and commitment to quality patient care philosophy rather than a "churn and burn" volume focused clinical model.
  • Unmatched Work-Life Balance: Maintain a predictable 4.5-day work week with half-day Fridays and no evening or weekend requirements. All call responsibilities are handled personally by the lead physician, allowing you a truly sustainable professional life.
  • High Earning Potential: Offering a top-tier base salary with a clear path to production-based earnings and managed care incentives as your patient panel grows.
  • Efficient Clinical Model: Practice in a modern, 12-room clinic supported by highly tenured Medical Assistants. You will have the resources to focus on quality care with ample time scheduled appropriately for wellness blocks and acute visits.
  • Full-Scope Primary Care: Manage a diverse patient population seeing a traditional family medicine panel with a mix of patients of all ages in a purely outpatient setting. The clinic is fully equipped for minor procedures including sutures, excisions, and biopsies.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Package includes a 401(k) with 4% match, annual healthcare allowance, weeks of PTO, and relocation assistance for those moving to the area.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine.
  • New graduates and experienced physicians are equally welcome; 12 years of experience is preferred.
  • Spanish proficiency is a significant plus, though not required.
  • State licensure and board certification are required.
