Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Specialist

Are you dedicated to advancing patient care in hematology and oncology? We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician to deliver exceptional specialized outpatient services. This vital role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Required Skills:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the relevant state
  • Proven proficiency in outpatient clinics, including new consultations and follow-up care
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience managing hematology and oncology cases in outpatient settings
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Participation in clinical research or academic activities related to hematology/oncology
  • Multilingual skills to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctoral degree in medicine (MD or DO)
  • Prior outpatient hematology and oncology experience preferred
  • At least 2 years of clinical practice post-residency

Other Requirements:
  • On-site presence 3-4 days per week, two weeks per month
  • No inpatient responsibilities or on-call duties
  • All inpatient cases referred to tertiary care in Wausau
  • No procedures required
  • Valid medical license and professional liability insurance
  • Willingness to adhere to all applicable state, federal, and local laws
