Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team
๐จโโ๏ธ Clinical Responsibilities

Manage hospital admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
-
Evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
-
Provide ventilator management
-
Respond to codes and rapid response situations
-
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
-
Coordinate care with specialists, emergency physicians, respiratory therapy, CRNAs, and nursing teams

Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR
-
Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up
-
Participate in clinical rounds, hospital committees, and quality initiatives

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Active Vermont medical license required
-
DEA required prior to start

BLS and ACLS certifications

Ventilator management experience

Experience running codes

Clean malpractice history
-
NPDB Self Query report required at presentation

Candidates must live within one hour of the hospital
