Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to assume a full-time clinical role with Medical Director responsibilities during this leadership transition.
The Medical Director will provide clinical oversight and leadership for the practice while ensuring compliance with Oregon regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of patient care. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape a respected community practice with long-term leadership potential.

Job Responsibilities
Establish and oversee clinical protocols
Conduct periodic chart reviews
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and Oregon Health Authority requirements
Supervise mid-level providers
Manage established patient panel
Diagnose and treat adult patients
Preventive care & chronic disease management
Supervise NP/PA providers (if applicable)
Participate in call rotation (if required)
Regulatory and Compliance
Maintain oversight of prescribing practices
Ensure compliance with Stark Law and Anti-Kickback regulations
Participate in quality assurance initiatives
Leadership And Strategy
Collaborate on operational improvements
Participate in recruitment of additional providers
Support sustainable growth of the practice
Ability to take on the current practice and it's patients
Qualifications
MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Active Oregon license (or eligible)
DEA registration
3-10+ years outpatient experience preferred
Leadership mindset
Interest in leadership and clinical oversight
Prior private practice or supervisory experience preferred
