Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Leadership

Serve as Medical Director for designated skilled nursing facilities

Partner with the Regional Medical Director to implement clinical programs and quality initiatives

Provide leadership and mentorship to medical staff

Collaborate with facility leadership to enhance operations, compliance, and patient outcomes

Participate in quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and interdisciplinary meetings

Clinical Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations in post-acute and long-term care settings

Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies

Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans

Prescribe medications and therapies appropriately

Complete timely documentation (H&Ps, progress notes, care plans)

Educate patients, families, and staff regarding treatment plans

Review labs, sign documentation, and complete regulatory paperwork promptly

Qualifications

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States

Eligible for an unrestricted Montana (MT) medical license – High Priority

Active DEA license and NPI (or eligibility to obtain)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
Internal Medicine
Family Medicine
Geriatric Medicine
General Practice
Other relevant specialties considered
Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid participation

Education & Experience
MD / DO / MBBS required
Experience in post-acute, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred
