We are seeking a passionate, board-certified Primary Care Physician to join our team as a Resident Preceptor. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while mentoring and teaching resident physicians in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do Deliver Exceptional Patient Care
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits

  • Practice evidence-based medicine in a supportive, team-based environment

  • Build long-term patient relationships while contributing to strong quality outcomes

Teach, Mentor, and Inspire
  • Serve as the supervising attending for resident physicians in clinic

  • Provide real-time clinical teaching and case-based learning

  • Offer constructive feedback and support progressive autonomy

  • Model professionalism, clinical excellence, and compassionate care

Lead by Example
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

  • Participate in quality improvement and educational initiatives

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence

What You Bring
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Active, unrestricted New York State medical license

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine required

  • At least two years of post-residency clinical experience preferred, not required

  • Genuine passion for teaching and mentoring resident physicians

  • Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Practice Details
  • Practice setting: Outpatient clinic

  • Employment type: Full-time

  • Patient volume: Approximately 20–30 patients per day

  • Schedule:

    • 40 hours per week

    • 8-hour shifts

  • Weekend coverage: Required on a rotational basis

  • Call:

    • Phone call only

    • Rotational coverage

  • Hospital privileges: Required

  • Case complexity: Moderate

  • Procedures: None required

  • Productivity model: Encounter-based

  • Non-negotiable: Participation in phone call rotation

  • Hiring priority: High

  • Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 2–3 months

Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual salary range: $250,000–$275,000
