Job description
Seeking 1 Medical Director in Seattle, Washington to oversee clinical operations across assigned skilled nursing facilities. This role includes collaborating with the Regional Medical Director to implement programs, policies, and procedures that promote collegiality, professional development, and high-quality patient care. The Medical Director will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care while partnering with facility leadership to enhance outcomes and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Regional Medical Director on clinical programs and policies
• Partner with facility leadership to improve quality of care
• Examine and evaluate patients
• Order, interpret, and document diagnostic tests
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions using evidence-based medicine
• Prescribe medications and therapies
• Educate patients and families on treatment and preventive care
• Manage medical supplies and clinical resources
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records
Qualifications
• Active Washington (WA) Medical License (or ability to obtain)
• Board Certified / Board Eligible – Preferred
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute care – Preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with interdisciplinary team collaboration
