An established outpatient practice in Long Island City, NY is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive adult medical care in a strictly outpatient, in-person setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations for adult patients
• Diagnose and manage chronic conditions including:
o Hypertension
o Diabetes mellitus
o Thyroid disorders
o Cardiovascular disease
o Respiratory disorders
o Metabolic conditions
o Infectious diseases
• Provide preventive care services, annual wellness visits, and screenings
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Coordinate care with subspecialists to ensure continuity of care
• Promote preventive health strategies and chronic disease management programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR/EHR systems

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school – Required
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency – Required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine – Required
• Active or eligible for New York State medical license – Required
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in adult medicine
• Experience managing chronic disease and preventive care initiatives
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered outpatient care

Working Hours

• 8-hour shifts
• 5 days per week (40 hours weekly for full-time)
• Outpatient, in-person setting only
• Full-time and part-time options available
