Job Responsibilities
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete necessary documentation including reports and addendums after each exam.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
- Work is on a PRN basis, with options for ½ days (4-hour shifts) or full days (8-hour shifts).
- Coordinate with military and VA facilities as required.
Qualifications
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
- AANP certification is required.
- Must have an active, unrestricted full medical license.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Experience in general medicine or compensation and pension is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements
- Active medical license in the state of Texas.
- AANP certification is required.
- DMA certification is a plus.
