Job Opportunity: Locum General Medicine Physician in Houston, TX

The Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) focuses on performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, catering to the unique needs of Veterans across the country.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
- Conduct primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete required documentation and submit reports, including any necessary addendums.
- Participate in PRN shifts on an as-needed basis, with options for both half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) shifts.
- Work in your own office or at a VES facility within a specified radius from your primary residence.
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Possess an active and unrestricted full medical license.
- Ability to provide a current CV with home address listed.
- Must own a functional laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
- Background in General Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Orthopedic Surgery is preferred.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current medical license in the state of Texas is required.
- Board certification is preferred.
- Verification of certification number and license number.
