Healthcare United is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician for a 100 percent outpatient role with a prominent Federally Qualified Health Center serving southern Connecticut. This is a group employed position focused on adult and geriatric primary care with no call responsibilities. The organization offers strong clinical support, a structured onboarding period, and long term career growth within a large primary care network in Fairfield County. This opportunity is open to experienced physicians and J1 candidates.
Job Responsibilities
Manage an average patient volume of approximately 18 patients per day
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including community health workers, nutritionists, and care navigators
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using EPIC EMR
Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Uphold all clinical, regulatory, and compliance standards
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Minimum of two years of clinical experience required
Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain one
J1 candidates accepted
Spanish language proficiency preferred
No new graduates at this time
Working Hours
Monday through Friday
No call responsibilities
