We are seeking a Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – MD/DO) for a full-time, outpatient opportunity in Louisiana. This position is ideal for physicians looking for a stable schedule, strong clinical support, and a well-established outpatient practice.

The role offers a balanced mix of clinical care and administrative time, with a collaborative team environment and resources in place to support long-term success.



Position Overview
Specialty: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
Employment Type: Permanent
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• Approximately 4.5 days of clinic + 0.5 administrative day weekly
Start Date: ASAP (flexible based on availability)



Clinical Environment
• Fully outpatient practice (no inpatient responsibilities)
• Established patient panel with strong referral support
• Typical primary care case mix
• EMR in place (Epic integration rolling out)
• Dedicated clinical staff support (LPNs/MAs with 1:1 support model)
• On-site management and administrative infrastructure



Patient Volume
• Average 20–22 patients per day once ramped
• Built-in onboarding and transition period
• Sustainable productivity expectations



Call Responsibilities
• Light call rotation
• Minimal call volume
• Calls can be handled remotely
• Separate pediatric call group in place



Candidate Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Louisiana license or willingness to obtain
• CDS, DEA, and BLS (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Clean license and professional standing
• Open to both experienced physicians and new graduates
