Permanent Physician – Internal Medicine
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician - Internal Medicine
Location: New York
Rate: $25K Permanent Placement Fee
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 7 days on / 7 days off
- Patient Population: Adult inpatient
- Setting: Hospital-based / Hospitalist (Nocturnist)
- Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive inpatient care, manage admissions, conduct histories and physicals, monitor acute conditions, coordinate discharges, collaborate with specialists and care teams, participate in rounds, handoffs, and quality initiatives, maintain accurate documentation
- Required Procedures: Standard inpatient hospitalist care and admissions management
- EMR System: Paragon
- Support Staff: 24/7 intensivist support, nursing staff, specialists, case managers, ancillary teams
- Days Per Month: 7-on / 7-off rotation
- On-Call/Weekends: None – no on-call duties; weekends covered within rotation
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 1 year) in Internal Medicine
- New York license or willingness to obtain
- Clean malpractice and license history
- DEA certification
- NPDB self-query within 30 days
- Visa support not accepted
- 1 year hospitalist or nocturnist experience preferred
