Join a well-supported inpatient team as a Daytime Hospitalist in a community-focused acute care setting. This role offers a manageable patient census, strong ICU and subspecialty support, and an excellent 7-on / 7-off schedule for work–life balance.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient medical care during day shifts
• Perform daily rounds on assigned patients
• Admit patients and manage rapid responses/codes
• Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting
• Coordinate care with specialists, nursing, and case management
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR
• Participate in team-based patient care and quality initiatives
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for or holding a New York medical license
• DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support
• New graduates accepted (BE within required timeframe)
Working Hours
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 7 days on / 7 days off
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekends included in rotation
