An excellent opportunity for a Board Certified / Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join a well-supported inpatient team as a Nocturnist. This role offers a low nightly census, strong subspecialty & intensivist backup, and a highly desirable 7-on / 7-off schedule, providing exceptional work–life balance.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient medical care during night shifts
• Admit and manage patients from the ED and direct admissions
• Manage acute medical conditions with intensivist support for complex cases
• Coordinate care with nursing, specialists, and care teams
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Participate in handoffs, rounds, and quality initiatives
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for or holding a New York medical license
• DEA certification required
• Strong inpatient clinical and communication skills
• New graduates welcome (BE within 1 year)
Working Hours
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 7 days on / 7 days off
• No on-call duties
• Every other weekend included in rotation
