Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology provider for a locum position starting March 1, 2026. This role involves primarily inpatient work with some outpatient clinic duties, offering a rewarding environment for physicians committed to delivering excellent patient care. Required Skills:
  • Valid medical license and relevant certifications in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
  • Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Ability to perform endoscopic procedures
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
  • Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Flexible availability to work two weeks per month
  • Availability for night call coverage post-shift and 24-hour weekend call
  • Willingness to perform outpatient clinic duties approximately one day per week (returning to hospital for 12-hour shift)
  • Compliance with all hospital and state licensing requirements
  • Ability to work overtime after 12-hour shifts; paid accordingly
