Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician Austin, TX
Are you a Board-Certified/Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician seeking a professional, collaborative environment where quality patient care is the top priority?
A long-standing and highly respected private practice in Central Austin is seeking a dedicated physician to join their team due to exciting growth. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a quality-driven group with a 20+ year reputation for excellence, offering a stable environment, approachable leadership, and a clear path toward a balanced, four-day work week.
- Established Community Reputation: Join a professional practice known for its compassionate and high-quality care. With a loyal patient base and strong local roots, you will be part of a team that values collaborative care and has maintained excellent staff retention.
- Manageable Clinical Volume: Maintain a sustainable pace of 1520 patients per day. We prioritize high-touch medicine, allowing 15 or 30 minutes per appointment depending on the complexity of the visit.
- Flexible Full-Time Schedule: Enjoy a standard MondayFriday structure with the opportunity to transition to a 4-day work week and a dedicated administrative day once fully ramped.
- Focus on Adult Medicine: Our scope of practice centers on adult primary care, including new patient consultations, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs), and chronic disease management. We welcome Family Medicine physicians who are comfortable focusing exclusively on adult patients.
- Streamlined Call & Scope: Enjoy a purely outpatient role with no hospital rounding or admitting. Call is strictly internal, limited to your own patient panel, and exceptionally manageable.
- Strong Support Team: Work alongside a tenured and dedicated staff, including an office manager and a robust team of MAs. To support our growth, we are adding additional clinical support to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Competitive Rewards: Offering a strong starting salary with performance-based ACO bonuses. Benefits include 100% employer-paid medical premiums, 401(k) with a 4% match, five weeks of PTO, and a generous holiday schedule.
Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
- New graduates are welcome, as are seasoned physicians with solid primary care experience.
- Must be comfortable with routine in-office procedures (suture removal, ear lavage, basic derm).
- State licensure and board certification are required.
