Job Responsibilities
Cooperate with the Practice’s designees to ensure that operations are consistent with the Practice’s medical policies and professional standards.
Cooperate and participate in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice and the quality of health care rendered by the Practice.
Participate in and assist with in-service and continuing education programs for physicians, nurses, and other personnel employed by or associated with the Practice.
Cooperate in the completion of any necessary forms and contracts for third-party reimbursement or other purposes.
Prepare and maintain legible, orderly and clinically complete medical records as required by the Practice, and/or any applicable laws, ordinances, standards of medical practice, risk management or quality assurance programs, or as required by external accreditation organizations.
Convey compassion and concern for the patient’s problems and dedication to alleviating those problems and to providing comfort and care to those in need.
Attend professional conventions and postgraduate seminars and participate in professional societies so far as is reasonable and practical.
Perform all CME requirements reasonably desirable to maintain and improve your professional skills.
Qualifications
Board-certified or eligible Internal or Family Medicine physician.
Active unrestricted NYS medical license
