Position Summary
The Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician is responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care services, including the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role emphasizes preventive care, health education, and health promotion while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Physicians will function with minimal supervision, following established clinical guidelines, organizational policies, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Promote preventive care, wellness, and patient education
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professionalism in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Valid Arizona Medical License
- Valid DEA Certificate
- CPR and AED Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross compliant)
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona Department of Public Safety)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Completion of an accredited U.S. Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
