Internal Medicine position in: Hayesville, NC

Post Acute Care Medical Director opening in Hayesville, NC Chattanooga, TN 106m; Greenville, SC 109m Part-time Seeking a Medical Director in our post-acute care facilities in Hayesville, North Carolina. * Provide primary care services within a skilled nursing facility, conducting rounds 1-2 days per week, no weekends * On call rotation with other Physician Leaders for escalation only; No primary call after 5pm. * Oversight to clinical operations and ensuring optimal patient outcomes * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative care plans * Mentor and develop staff to foster a culture of excellence * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the practice Highlights * Competitive compensation * Customizable weekday daytime schedule, two days per week * Uncapped earning with bi-weekly bonuses * Monthly leadership stipend * No primary night call * Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage Qualifications * MD or DO degree * Active and unrestricted North Carolina medical license and DEA * Primary care experience * Proven leadership skills and a passion for post-acute care * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Hayesville, NC Hayesville is located in Clay County, in the Southwestern North Carolina mountains where beautiful surroundings and friendly folks are only part of the enjoyment.
