Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Setting: Community Health / Outpatient Clinic
Position Overview
We are seeking a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join a mission-driven outpatient clinic serving diverse and underserved patient populations. This role is ideal for a physician passionate about community health, preventive care, and delivering high-quality primary care in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including history-taking, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with evidence-based standards
  • Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
  • Manage clinical documentation, in-basket messages, refills, and lab results on time
Patient Volume
  • Average 3 patients per hour (20-minute visits)
  • Includes 2 telehealth visits per day
  • Dedicated administrative/charting time daily
  • Charts completed within 72 hours
  • EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school (or FMG with ECFMG certification)
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • DEA and CPR certification required
  • 1–2 years of experience in community health, FQHC, or underserved populations preferred
  • Strong commitment to caring for low-income and diverse patient populations
  • Experience with pediatric to adult primary care strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with HRSA, HEDIS, PCMH, and quality metrics is a plus (preferred)
