Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly qualified Internal Medicine specialist with expertise in Hematology and Oncology to join our esteemed medical team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care at TidalHealth locations in Salisbury, MD and Seaford, DE, with a split schedule.
- Manage a diverse patient population, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Ensure smooth license and credentialing processes in both states.
- Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
- No on-call duties and no weekend work, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
- Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology.
- Valid medical licenses for Maryland and Delaware.
- Proven experience in outpatient hematology and oncology care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Prior involvement in research or clinical trials.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
- Additional certifications in advanced oncology or hematology procedures.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- At least 2 years of relevant outpatient hematology and oncology experience.
- Prior experience practicing in a multi-state environment.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain and maintain licensure and credentials in both Maryland and Delaware.
- Ability to travel between locations approximately 30 minutes apart.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
