Required Skills:
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state
  • Board-certified or eligible in Cardiology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty training
  • Proven clinical expertise in non-invasive cardiology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse patient panel and coordinate care effectively
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Capacity to supervise Physician Assistants and collaborate with clinical staff

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in outpatient and inpatient cardiology settings
  • Familiarity with advanced imaging and diagnostic techniques
  • Prior experience with panel management and longitudinal patient care
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of residency and fellowship in Cardiology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty focus
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice in cardiology or related field
  • Active state medical licensure and board certification in cardiology

Other Requirements:
  • Must possess or obtain supervising physician certification for Physician Assistants
  • Ability and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
  • Commitment to long-term patient care and departmental growth
  • Flexible scheduling with availability for shifts as scheduled; strong consideration given to candidates open to full-time engagement
