This position is ideal for experienced gastroenterologists seeking flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Whether you're looking to bolster your professional portfolio or gain diverse clinical exposure, this role provides the perfect platform.
Required Skills:
- Active California medical license and DEA certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology within 5 years of residency
- Proven proficiency in ERCP and fluoroscopy procedures
- Ability to perform procedures efficiently, typically lasting 30 minutes to an hour
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Capable of managing both clinic and night call responsibilities effectively
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and privileging requirements
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with temporary fluoroscopy licenses
- Prior experience working in hospital settings
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Ability to handle urgent cases and manage 24-hour weekend call coverage
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years current hospital-based clinical activity in gastroenterology
- Demonstrated history of managing complex GI cases
- Familiarity with scheduling shifts based on detailed patient needs
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to cover shifts starting from May 2026
- Availability to participate in weekday clinic work, night call, and 24-hour weekend coverage
- Ensure all shifts are covered in accordance with the schedule, with shifts paid as described
- Compliance with privileging timelines, including timely submission of application materials within 5 days
- Clear presentation of provider availability during application submission
Compensation:
