Locum Tenens Internal Medicine – Neurohospitalist

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Coverage Requirement: Must be able to cover all required shifts

Practice Setting

Inpatient hospital setting

Clinical Details

Average patients per shift: 12–15

Provide inpatient neurohospitalist coverage

Manage acute stroke patients, including tPA administration
-
Perform general neurology consults and follow-up examinations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary inpatient care teams
Required Skills
-
Familiarity with acute stroke protocols
-
Experience with tPA administration
-
Strong interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Requirements

MD or DO
-
Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Active Washington medical license (required)

Certifications: Not required
Credentialing

Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 30 days

Clean file required to qualify for temporary privileges
