Required Skills:
- Proven experience in heart failure management
- Fellowship training in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Flexibility to adapt to the scheduled shifts and call requirements
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications related to cardiology subspecialties
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
- Minimum of 3 years post-fellowship clinical experience in a comparable setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability for a 7-day inpatient shift schedule, with one week per month
- Night call responsibility, with on-call support
- Must review and adhere to scope of practice documentation
- Willingness to cover variable shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
