Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in heart failure management
  • Fellowship training in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology preferred
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
  • Flexibility to adapt to the scheduled shifts and call requirements

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Additional certifications related to cardiology subspecialties
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare environments

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO)
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
  • Minimum of 3 years post-fellowship clinical experience in a comparable setting

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for a 7-day inpatient shift schedule, with one week per month
  • Night call responsibility, with on-call support
  • Must review and adhere to scope of practice documentation
  • Willingness to cover variable shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
