Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Multiple Locations, Los Angeles, CA
Overview
A well-established community health organization is seeking Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO) to join its growing outpatient clinics in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians interested in providing high-quality, mission-driven care in a supportive, team-based environment.
Multiple full-time openings are available, with some flexibility for part-time schedules depending on location.
Openings & Locations
Currently hiring for 3 immediate openings (with plans to expand to 4 total):
- Melrose Area – Los Angeles, CA 90038
- Virgil Avenue Area – Los Angeles, CA 90004
- Hollywood Boulevard Area – Los Angeles, CA 90028
Schedule & Hours
- Full-time preferred; part-time may be considered at select locations
- Minimum 30 hours/week to qualify for benefits
- Typical schedule includes:
- 36 clinic hours + 4 administrative hours per week
- Administrative time may be completed remotely
- 36 clinic hours + 4 administrative hours per week
- Clinic hours vary by location:
- Melrose & Hollywood: Monday–Friday, extended hours (flexible scheduling options including 4-day weeks, 8- or 12-hour shifts)
- Virgil: Monday–Friday, standard daytime hours (full-time only; may consider 32 hours)
- Melrose & Hollywood: Monday–Friday, extended hours (flexible scheduling options including 4-day weeks, 8- or 12-hour shifts)
- Occasional evening shifts preferred
- Minimal on-call responsibility (approximately 3 times per year)
Patient Population & Scope
- Daily volume: Approximately 22 patients per day (split AM/PM)
- Hollywood location:
- Adult-only care
- Internal Medicine focus
- Experience with underserved populations, homelessness, or addiction medicine is a plus
- Adult-only care
- Melrose & Virgil locations:
- All-ages care (pediatrics through adults)
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with pediatric experience required
- On-site OB/GYN services available
- All-ages care (pediatrics through adults)
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (new graduates welcome)
- Open to physicians early in their career
- Visa support may be available (including J-1)
- Must be eligible for California medical licensure
Practice Environment
- Outpatient-only setting
- No supervision of NPs or PAs required
- Reports to an Associate Medical Director
- Supported by:
- Dedicated Medical Assistant per provider
- Nursing support
- AI-powered scribe program
- Dedicated Medical Assistant per provider
- EMR: Epic
