Internal Medicine Physician - Woodstock, GA
Offering Sign-on & Relocation
Shift Schedule: Full-Time (Mon – Fri)
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modification counseling.
• Provide preventive care, including screenings, immunizations, and health education.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists, diagnostic services, and other healthcare providers as needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, state regulations, and federal healthcare guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure & Certification:
• Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration.
Experience:
• Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in internal medicine or primary care preferred
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings is highly desirable.
