Internal Medicine Opportunity – Community Hospital Setting
Location: Easley, SC - Greenville 12m
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Position Highlights
* Deliver high-quality patient care
* Diagnose, prevent, and treat diseases, defects, or injuries; prescribe treatments as appropriate
* Provide care consistent with accepted professional standards regardless of patient demographics
* Maintain accurate, legible, and timely medical records using CPT and ICD coding
* Participate in after-hours call coverage on a rotating basis
* Comply with standards of medical practice, managed care regulations, and Joint Commission requirements
* Maintain clinical skills through continuing medical education
* Participate in non-revenue generating activities such as committees, community outreach, teaching, and research
* Support quality assurance, utilization management, patient education, and patient satisfaction initiatives
* Assist the organization with maintaining licenses, permits, and accreditation standards

Ideal Candidate
* MD or DO degree from an accredited program
* Completion of residency in relevant specialty
* Board Certified or Board Eligible
* Medical staff privileges required
* Licensed to practice in South Carolina with DEA and controlled substance registration
* Strong communication and patient care skills
