Position Summary

The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join its expanding adult primary care team in the New Haven area.

This full-time, permanent role is predominantly outpatient, supported by an experienced nursing and administrative team. Physicians benefit from strong leadership, manageable patient panels, integrated support services, and a practice environment modeled around evidence-based, team-oriented care.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient adult primary care

  • Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and heart disease

  • Perform routine preventive care, annual exams, and wellness visits

  • Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health providers, and allied staff

  • Utilize EMR effectively and maintain accurate, timely documentation

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based case discussions

  • Stay current with clinical guidelines and internal medicine best practices

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited institution

  • Licensure: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; eligible for Connecticut licensure

  • Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency

  • Experience: Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome
