🩺 Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for all assigned nighttime patients

• Perform detailed admissions, histories, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments

• Manage acute medical issues, including those in the open ICU

• Coordinate safe and effective discharge and care-transition plans

• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation

• Uphold hospital policies, medical staff guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Participate in department meetings, training, and CME

• Deliver professional and compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams

💼 Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

• Active NY medical license or willingness to obtain

• DEA certification

• Clean malpractice and license history

• 1 year of hospitalist/nocturnist experience preferred

• Not accepting Locums, visa candidates, or 1099 providers

• Guaranteed base salary: $325,000 annually
