We are seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join River Vista Behavioral Health in Madera, CA. With this Independent Contractor arrangement, the schedule is flexible and the compensation potential is generous. This is your opportunity to join a behavioral health facility and work alongside a collaborative care team with a strong support structure.

- Employment Type: Independent Contractor/1099
- Patient Volume: 10-12 admission H&Ps, daily consult care with follow-ups for patients in behavioral health, inpatient and PHP/IOP as needed.
- Location: Madera, CA
- Practice Setting: Behavioral Health Facility, Inpatient and PHP/IOP setting. Patient population will include adults and adolescents with diverse psychiatric and substance-abuse issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform admission H&Ps, daily consults, follow-ups. Provide medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues in the scope of patient care under a psychiatrist. There is a full team of Psychiatrist on staff at the hospital for collaboration.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff
Qualifications
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA license
- Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians

We offer a full continuum of inpatient services, including specialized units catering to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and older adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues.
