Clinical Details
- Provide professional medical services in a correctional facility
- Administer examinations, diagnose medical issues, prescribe medications, and provide treatment and follow-up care
- Perform minor and occasional major surgeries
- Participate in treatment team meetings to devise, review, and alter individual health plans
- Monitor and review operations and standards of care
- Conduct clinical rounds and hold clinics for nursing specialists
- Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of medicine
- Active TN License
- A valid driver's license
- BLS certification
