📍 Fort Jones, California 💵 $170/hour | Travel & Lodging Provided 📅 13-week assignment with option to transition to full-time

Position Overview

Anav Tribal Health Clinic is seeking a compassionate Physician (Internal Medicine preferred) to provide outpatient primary care to adult patients. Approximately one-third of encounters involve women’s health (GYN).

This is an outpatient-only role — no inpatient or on-call duties — offering a balanced schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in tribal health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient primary care services to adult patients

• Deliver women’s health care (primarily GYN)

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Document patient visits promptly using SOAP format

• Engage with the community through outreach and education

Requirements

• MD/DO from accredited institution

• Active California medical license & CA DEA

• Internal Medicine specialty preferred

• Minimum 1 year of supervised clinical experience

• Compliance with immunization, TB evaluation, drug screening, and background check
