Job description We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Dec 29, 2025, and requires a commitment of 60 days with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Candidates must be able to speak Spanish, possess California Medical and ORP paneling, and have experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers with patient volumes of 24 or more per day. The ideal physician will bring expertise in rural health, quality metrics, and preventive care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive primary care in a rural FQHC setting
  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting with three or more complaints per visit
  • Deliver care aligned with quality metrics and preventive health standards
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all patient encounters
  • Support the mission of rural health and community wellness
