Academic Internist: Love teaching residents? Position available immediately for a full-time Clinician Educator at Wellstar GME - Department of Internal Medicine located at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital, a community-based hospital located in Griffin, Georgia
Join a fully-accredited Internal Medicine residency training program with committed core faculty and a solid track record of academic achievement and subspecialty fellowship placements. Our GME Internal Medicine group has enjoyed long-term faculty retention and is currently expanding to include an additional full-time faculty member.
Primary responsibility is outpatient/ambulatory supervision/teaching of IM residents. Candidate expected to provide resident lectures, support residents in scholarly activities and assist with ACGME accreditation requirements.
Must be board certified in Internal Medicine. Prior GME involvement is preferred.
