A community-focused hospital in Central New York is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join their inpatient team. This role offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM) with strong sub-specialty support and a manageable patient load. Providers will work in a collaborative environment with intensivist support in an open ICU setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Admit patients, manage rapid responses, and coordinate care with specialists.
• Collaborate with ICU team for complex cases.
• Document all assessments, care plans, and orders using Paragon EMR.
• Participate in hospitalist team management, maintaining high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
• Active or willing to obtain New York medical license.
• DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Comfortable working in ICU setting with intensivist support.
Working Hours
• Full-time inpatient hospitalist coverage.
Skills
• Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in EMR documentation and hospital workflow.
