Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join our growing team in Koreatown LA , Fullerton, Garden Grove, and Rowland Heights. This is an outpatient-only position with an established patient panel, efficient office operations, and a dedicated support team to ensure quality care delivery. Clinics are fully staffed

The ideal candidate will be:
Fluent in Korean (or conversational)
Experienced or comfortable with the Medicare HMO model
Committed to building long-term, trust based relationships with a diverse senior patient population

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care services to HMO members, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care visits.
Conduct thorough history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Focus on preventive care and evidence-based medicine in accordance with HMO guidelines.
Ensure continuity of care for all assigned patients.
2. Care Coordination
Coordinating referrals to specialists within the HMO network.
Monitor referrals, tests, and follow-ups to prevent gaps in care.
Maintain updated care plans for patients with complex needs.
3. Compliance & Documentation
Adhere to HMO policies, guidelines, and utilization management protocols.
Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EHR to support quality measures, audits, and billing.
Participate in quality improvement programs and meet HMO performance metrics (HEDIS measures & RAF)
Qualifications
CA License and Certification
DEA License
Working Hours
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills in adult and geriatric medicine.
Proficiency in preventive care, chronic disease management.
Competence in conducting comprehensive health assessments, annual wellness visits, and risk adjustment documentation.
2. Communication & Patient Engagement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse patient populations, families, and caregivers.
Cultural competence and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and vulnerable populations.
Korean speaking (conversational minimum)
3. Documentation & Compliance
Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical documentation for quality reporting and risk adjustment.
Detail-oriented with accurate and timely charting to meet audit, billing, and regulatory requirements.
