About the Position

Job Title: Primary Care Physician – Family or Internal Medicine

Location: Vermont
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Remote/Commuting Restrictions:
Not open to candidates commuting more than 1 hour
Not open to candidates working multiple positions concurrently

Position Overview:

Join a collaborative outpatient practice delivering primary care to pediatric and adult patients in a supportive, low-volume setting. This is a full-time role with a balanced weekly schedule of direct patient care and administrative time.

Job Benefits

Base Salary: $200,000 - $230,000
Bonus: Up to $20,000/year in quality incentives

Job Responsibilities

Practice Highlights:

Setting: Outpatient clinic (no hospital rounds)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
32 hours patient-facing
8 hours admin
Patient Volume: Avg. 14 patients/day
Call Schedule: 1:11 (phone-only, no in-person call)
Care Model: Team-based care in a multidisciplinary setting
Focus Areas: Preventive care, chronic disease management, quality initiatives

Additional Information:

No weekend work or inpatient responsibilities
No overnight or in-person call duties
Supportive and collegial team with access to full-spectrum medical specialties

Qualifications

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
If Board Eligible, include residency graduation date
DEA License – active or in process
BLS Certification
Clean Malpractice History
Active Vermont License – must be obtained before start
Start Availability: Confirm candidate can begin by Fall 2025
