Primary Care Physician (New Graduates Accepted) - El Monte, CA

Locations: El Sereno, CA; El Monte, CA; Rosemead, CA; (may split time between sites which are about 10-15 mins away from one another; they would not need to travel between sites within the same day)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)

Alternative schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Rotational on-call phone support; no hospital work required.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations, including underserved and uninsured communities. This full-time role involves managing preventive, acute, and chronic conditions while collaborating with an integrated care team to support patients' overall well-being. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-scope primary care for adults and pediatric patients, including preventive, acute, and chronic care.

  • Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, immunizations, and order/review lab tests and diagnostic imaging.

  • Develop personalized care plans and provide health education and counseling.

  • Manage referrals and coordinate care with specialists and an integrated care team, including behavioral health.

  • Practice evidence-based medicine, focusing on wellness, prevention, and continuity of care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and participate in rotational after-hours call support.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Completion of an approved residency program.

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
    Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in a primary care specialty (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds).

  • Valid, unrestricted California Medical License.

  • Current DEA license.

  • Compassion for underserved and uninsured communities.

  • Ability to meet credentialing requirements.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a community clinic or FQHC setting.

  • Knowledge of public health principles.
