Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate effectively with intra- and interdepartmental staff to administer patient treatment according to nationally recognized treatment standards, ensuring thorough documentation using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Conduct comprehensive patient exams, write detailed evaluations, and generate accurate reports.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans.
• Manage patient medications, including prescribing and monitoring therapeutic outcomes.
• Complete reclassifications and other required patient reviews as indicated.
• Make referrals for specialized care or treatment when appropriate.
• Perform all duties in compliance with scope of practice guidelines, organizational policies, procedures, protocols, and relevant professional standards.
• Participate actively in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings and activities, including peer reviews.
• Engage in collaborative agreements as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage a caseload averaging up to 2.5 patients per hour
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Master’s Degree in Medicine (MD/DO)
• Licensure: Active Ohio Medical License
• Board Certification: Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
