$150/hr – Locum Primary Care Physician Needed | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

We are seeking Board-Certified Primary Care Physicians (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to provide locum coverage at a government medical center in West Virginia and affiliated outpatient clinics. This is a long-term assignment with competitive pay and travel coverage.

📌 Position Highlights:

• Start Date: November 2025 (upon credentialing)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no weekends/holidays)

• Patient Care: ~95% direct patient care, 5% administrative/quality improvement duties

• Settings: Main medical center + CBOCs in Gassaway, Parkersburg, Parsons, and Westover

• Duration: 6-month base contract with 6-month option extension

• Pay: $150/hr

• Coverage Need: 3 Physicians

📌 Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care (acute, chronic, preventive care)

• Manage minor wound care, respiratory, GI, musculoskeletal, dermatology, ENT, eye, and urology issues

• Ongoing management of chronic conditions (e.g., CAD, diabetes, hypertension, PTSD, depression)

• Document all encounters in the VA electronic medical record system (EHR)

• Participate in required quality improvement and staff meetings

• Comply with all VA clinical standards, safety, and HIPAA policies

📌 Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Active/unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory

• Current DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications

• NPI number

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder

• Clean background with no history of license restrictions or revocations
