Job description
- Physicians are needed to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments on Veterans and transitioning service members.
- This role is non-treatment and focused on evaluations and documentation. Providers may work PRN with options for half-day or full-day shifts.
Job Responsibilities
Perform physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Complete medical documentation, including follow-up addendums and medical opinions.
Ensure compliance with all required protocols, DMA certification, and VA standards.
Provide accurate, respectful, and timely evaluations to support Veterans’ benefits claims.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted license (state-specific as applicable).
Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
Willing to complete DMA training and become DMA certified.
Experience with METs testing, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
Working Hours
Half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.
No on-call or weekend requirements.
Skills
Familiarity with compensation and pension exam processes.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
