- Seeking Physicians to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments on a PRN basis in Alaska.
- Providers will conduct non-treatment evaluations primarily based on interviews with some physical assessments.
- This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking flexible scheduling and the chance to serve Veterans in their community.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform interview-based evaluations with limited physical exams (e.g., range of motion, muscle strength testing).
• Document and submit findings, including addendums and follow-up medical opinions.
• Maintain compliance with required certifications and documentation standards.
• Provide respectful and professional interactions with Veterans.
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted Alaska State License – Required.
• DMA certification (must be willing to complete training).
• Own a laptop (PC only – no Apple/Mac products).
• Relevant experience in general medicine, C&P exams, or related assessments preferred.
Working Hours
• Opportunities available in Juneau, Sitka, and Delta Junction.
• Weekend availability may be requested.

• Strong clinical documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage patient evaluations efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism when working with Veterans.
