Position: Attending Physician – Internal Medicine with Subspecialty in Gastroenterology (Permanent)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our reputable healthcare team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in managing a broad spectrum of digestive and gastrointestinal disorders, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to our department's clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient clinical care to patients with digestive system conditions, including but not limited to inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, acid reflux, and pancreatic disorders.
  • Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), and other advanced GI interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient encounters and procedures in accordance with regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to medical trainees and support staff as appropriate.
  • Be available for 7-10 days of on-call duties per month, providing emergent care and ensuring continuity of patient services.

Qualifications:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California.
  • Proven experience in managing a variety of GI conditions with proficiency in endoscopic procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
