Clinical Research Physician (Internal Medicine) - Northridge, CA
Job Type: Part-Time (0-8 hours/week)

Position Summary
We are seeking a board-certified Internist to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I). The physician will oversee patient safety, ensure protocol adherence, and collaborate with research teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and ethical study outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as PI or Sub-I on Phase I-IV clinical trials.

Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and determine patient eligibility.

Provide ongoing oversight of study participants, including safety monitoring and adverse event reporting.

Review and sign trial-related source documents, case report forms, and regulatory documents.

Collaborate with study coordinators, nurses, and other site staff to ensure protocol compliance.

Attend investigator meetings, site initiation visits, and monitoring visits as required.

Maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA, and IRB regulations.
Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted state medical license.

Board certification in Internal Medicine.

Prior clinical research experience preferred (training available for motivated candidates).

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Commitment to ethical research practices and patient-centered care.
Compensation & Schedule

Hourly compensation: $100 - $150 per hour (based on experience).

Flexible part-time commitment: 0-8 hours per week.
