Internal Medicine Faculty Opening in Huntsville, AL Birmingham & Chattanooga 100m A respected and growing residency program in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to serve as Core Faculty for its Internal Medicine Residency Program. This is a full-time, hospital-employed role focused on outpatient preceptorship and medical education in one of the country s most innovative and livable cities. Position Overview:

  • Full-time position with 32 hours of preceptorship, 4 hours of administrative duties, and 4 hours of didactic instruction each week
  • Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents in an outpatient setting
  • Guide residents in achieving rotation goals and meeting educational milestones
  • Review resident EMR documentation, care plans, and notes with appropriate feedback and addendums
