Internal Medicine Academic opening in Powell, TN Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine doctor to join our Internal Medicine Residency Continuity Clinic team working with and teaching residents. 3-5 years of experience. Must have an interest in teaching.
- Hospital-employed with a multi-specialty group
- Serve as a clinical preceptor, supervising and mentoring Internal Medicine residents in their continuity clinic
- Outpatient clinic
- Guide residents in evidence-based patient care, professional development, and practice management
- Supervise residents in their documentation in the EMR, writing of orders, and articulation of care plans by reviewing resident notes and adding the appropriate addendums
- Provide two didactic lectures per year
- Complete annual evaluations
