As CMO, you’ll help lead a dynamic team making a meaningful difference every day.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: $250,000 – $280,000 annually
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000
- Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
- RVU Bonus & Quality Incentive Bonus

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all clinical medical services across the organization
- Lead and supervise physicians, mid-levels, and clinical medical staff
- Serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team
- Maintain a blend of clinical (approx. 60%) and administrative (approx. 40%) responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive and continuous primary care to a patient panel
- Oversee credentialing, privileging, and performance evaluation for medical staff
- Direct clinical training, continuing education, and competency standards
- Lead the quality assurance and performance improvement activities; chair the Patient Care Assessment Committee
- Participate in Accountable Care Organization and interdisciplinary team initiatives
- Direct the expansion of services, recruitment, and onboarding of providers
- Oversee medical budget planning, productivity goals, and resource allocation
- Foster coordination of care with other service lines (behavioral health, substance abuse, dental, social services, etc.)
- Engage with the Board of Directors and participate in board and committee meetings, providing regular written reports
- Serve as a community health ambassador—engage in outreach, health center planning, grant proposal development, and advocacy
- Participate in on-call schedule and provide support to clinical teams as needed
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) – Family Physician, Internal Medicine, or combined (Internist/Pediatrics)
- Board Certified and eligible for timely recertification
- Clear and active Massachusetts medical license
- Current DEA, DEA-X, and Massachusetts Controlled Substance licensure
- Certified in ACLS or CPR/AED
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience caring for all members of the family unit
- Prior leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Eligible for unrestricted health center and hospital privileges
- Strong commitment to serving underserved and diverse populations
