Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Locums - North Carolina, Weekends Only
This assignment is located in North Carolina, near Greenville.
Highlights
- Every other weekend; Saturday & Sunday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- No call required
- Fast credentialing; start in 2 to 4 weeks
- All-inclusive rate; travel and lodging covered
Practice Setting
- Inpatient care for adult psychiatric patients
- 3 units shared among providers; 16 beds each
- Full team support including APPs, RNs, psychologists, and medical leadership
Schedule
- Two weekends per month
- Long-term assignment into 2026
- Flexible scheduling around existing providers
Cases and Procedures
- 2-6 patients/day
- Manage general inpatient needs: heart conditions, pregnancy, STDs, wound care
- Complex cases referred out
Requirements
- MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
- North Carolina license required
- Comfortable prescribing and interpreting labs
Travel Accommodations
- All-inclusive rate: provider arranges own travel/lodging
- Paper charting (Epic launching in August)
